Real Estate Insights

Properties in the Lyle area can be found in one of five general areas: the lower downtown area, which includes smaller bungalows, ranch houses, and farmhouses and the hillside homes overlooking downtown, which includes a number of newer homes with large windows to maximize the incredible Columbia River and sunset views. The third area includes a number of houses along the Klickitat Canyon, though there is not a large number of homes here. The final two areas are the plateaus on the east and the west sides of the Klickitat River. Here you’ll find a variety of homes, including cabins, manufactured homes, farmhouses, A-frames, log homes, timber frame houses, and stunning custom-built luxury homes. More often than not, no matter the style of home, the property will have incredible views, whether it be of the Columbia River, Mt Hood, Mt Adams, or all three. It is also not uncommon to have private wine cellars, extensive outdoor living spaces, horse barns, and more.
