Julie was raised in the PNW and has been coming to The Gorge since the 80s. She was originally drawn to Hood River for windsurfing and has been a professional windsurfer and kiteboarder, winning the title of Kiteboarding World Champion in 2001.
After retiring from her career as a professional athlete, Julie and her husband returned to Hood River and starred in an episode of HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge that centered around the remodel of their downtown Craftsman home. The experience rekindled Julie’s passion for real estate and, combined with her background in communication and marketing, her new career was born. She now has 17 years of experience in real estate representing clients in both Oregon (since 2005) and Washington (since 2006), has been active on the board of both the local and state Real Estate Associations and has been recognized by her peers twice as Realtor® of the Year (2015 and 2019).
“Working in real estate, I get to combine the joy of working with people, my passion for real estate, and the desire to make sure my clients receive the excellent level of service and care I believe everyone deserves when navigating such important transactions.”
When not assisting her clients, you will find Julie mountain biking, wing foiling, kiteboarding, or spending time with her husband and 2 kids outdoors somewhere in The Gorge.
