Quaint town featuring breathtaking views of the local landscape

Welcome to Mosier

The views from Mosier are absolutely incredible, making it a stunning place to call home. Many of the luxurious properties in Mosier include beautiful views of the Columbia River, as well as Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams, depending on where the property is located. The area is known for its fruit orchards and wineries. Here, you'll find a slower pace of life than in the neighboring Hood River. This is a welcomed and highly-desirable trait for those who want the ultimate peace and serenity in their new residential community.

Real Estate Insights

Property styles in Mosier vary greatly. The downtown core is complete with many historic homes: small bungalows, ranch houses, and Victorian or farmhouse-style historic homes. Located just outside the downtown core are two newer neighborhoods of custom homes: Tanawashee and Mosier Bluffs. Here you will find beautiful, well-crafted homes with incredible views. Also nearby downtown is a development called the Mosier Creek Condominiums, which face west down the mighty Columbia River, so the river and sunset views are amazing. Outside of town, you’ll find a variety of farmhouses, A-frames, log homes, and gorgeous custom homes, including some of the most luxury homes in The Gorge.

Things to Do

While Mosier offers a quiet environment and a slower lifestyle, that doesn't mean there is a shortage of things to do. Quite the opposite, actually! Check out Mosier Twin Tunnels, also known as the Historic Columbia River State Trail, for a walking/running/biking trail that connects Mosier to its western neighbor, Hood River, via a paved road closed to vehicular traffic. This trail is known for its stunning Columbia River views and history.
Rock Creek Beach provides Columbia River access to many locals' favorite water activities, including kiteboarding, wing foiling, windsurfing, SUPing, swimming, fishing, and more. At Mosier Falls Swimming Hole, locals can take advantage of a beautiful little waterfall and plenty of swimming and fun. The Syncline Viewpoint offers some of the best views in Mosier, and the Tom McCall Preserve is a great place to get away and enjoy nature.

Mosier is served by Mosier Community School, which accepts students in grades K-8.
